Muovo Jobs is emerging as a revolutionary job board, fundamentally changing how employers post vacancies and how jobseekers apply. In a recent conversation with Daphne Xuereb Vella, Creative and Marketing Executive at HR Talks, Ben Pace Lehner shared insights into the motivations, technological innovations, and strategic plans that position Muovo a leading platform, alongside reflections on both his and Muovo’s history.
Ben vividly recounts the story of how he and Director Alan Cini embarked on their journey with Muovo.
We acquired Muovo back in 2019, but it wasn’t our first time getting to know what Muovo was about.
It was in 2019 when Broadwing Limited, a prominent international HR and Recruitment firm based in Malta, announced the acquisition of Muovo’s intellectual property (IP), an employment agency originally established by Gege Gatt and Sinan Vural, back in 2007. The acquisition was done with the aim of enhancing Broadwing’s market presence and service offerings. Since then, Muovo has undergone significant transformation.
This acquisition represented a significant step in our mission to provide comprehensive HR solutions.
For employers, Muovo serves as an all-inclusive job posting portal that streamlines everything from creating job listing to shortlisting candidates. Ben discusses the platform’s built-in Applicant Tracking System (ATS), presenting it as the ideal solution for companies that do not have an ATS system of their own.
Muovo offers an ultimate streamlined approach: quick job postings, easy access to editing existing posts, and seamlessly accessing candidate applications and CVs with no external help needed.
The previous iteration of the Muovo platform enabled candidates to personalise their profiles by uploading essential documents and updating profile pictures. However, Ben notes that many candidates lack the time to do this, with their primary focus remaining on job applications. This insight inspired the revamped job board’s current approach, where candidates can simply upload their CVs, enabling employers to access them effortlessly. This streamlined process has significantly enhanced the platform’s efficiency for all users.
Muovo’s success is largely attributed to its strong social media presence. Ben Pace Lehner explains the platform’s extensive online reach has attracted high demand from clients, connecting companies with a broader pool of candidates.
Today, the presence of Muovo online is unparalleled – and employers posting these jobs reap the benefits.
Ben acknowledges that the decision to revamp Muovo stemmed from a strategic response to the pre-pandemic employment landscape. Specifically, the widespread recruitment freezes imposed by companies, driven by the need to manage ongoing costs, created a challenging environment. This situation highlighted a need for a more adaptable and cost-effective solution, which Muovo aimed to provide.
Observing the growing interest in Muovo motivated him and Director Alan Cini to take bolder steps towards shaping its future and ultimately enhancing the platform.
Employer branding and visibility are closely linked to the job postings shared on social media. Companies have the option to boost job posts, extending their reach to attract a larger pool of applicants. This not only increases the visibility of job openings but also strengthens the company’s overall corporate image through enhanced exposure.
HR Talks, Malta’s leading HR publication, plays a pivotal role in the recruitment landscape by offering a space for sponsored business articles. This innovative platform empowers employers to effectively showcase their brand, values, and offerings, facilitating a deeper connection with potential candidates.
With the recent enhancement of Muovo Jobs, HR Talks enables organisations to communicate their unique ethos and initiatives, particularly those related to company culture, sustainability and corporate responsibility. This not only helps jobseekers gain valuable insights into the companies behind the job postings but also captures the attention of individuals who may not be actively seeking employment. By fostering this engagement, HR Talks helps establish a robust pipeline of future talent, ensuring that employers can connect with the right candidates for their needs.
Ben envisions a continuous evolution for Muovo, with automation and AI integration at the forefront.
Muovo is not done progressing yet. In fact, we want to include AI-driven candidate-role matching to enhance efficiency for both employers and jobseekers.
Additionally, Ben plans to further refine the ATS system, enhancing its notification features to improve user experience and allowing for the customisation of specific notifications sent from the system.
The all-new Muovo Jobs is now available to companies across Europe, revolutionising how organisations attract top candidates while simultaneously enhancing employer marketing.
HR Talks believes in the transformative power of education. As we honour the International Day of Education, it’s important to recognise the privilege education holds.
With the recent launch of the transformed Muovo Jobs platform sweeping across Europe, the affiliated job board’s publication, HR Talks, has undergone substantial improvements.
