What you’ll do:

Working as part of the Sky Bet Commercial team, you will play a key role in driving Commercial & Marketing Performance. You will be tasked with increasing customer/commercial activities and campaigns, identifying ways in which we can improve our strategy and output over time. It is imperative that you can work effectively as part of a wider team. The successful applicant will hold key relationships with our Finance, CMU, BI, Trading, CVM, Marketing & Media teams, and a wide range of other UKI colleagues across other Flutter brands.

As part of your role, you will:

• Have P&L responsibilities for products, analysing performance on a day-to-day and week-to-week basis and develop plans to improve commercial performance.
• Produce, own and deliver the business brief for key events and campaigns, leading the commercial and marketing strategies/teams to ensure brand/commercial performance targets are hit.
• Lead and innovate new promotions/propositions to consistently stay ahead of the competition and exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure all activity is effectively measured and reported on, identifying and sharing learnigns across both Sky Bet and UKI Brands.
• Have a commercial attitude, identifying and understanding key trends and patterns in the behaviour of our customers, such as stakes, bet frequency, increased share of wallet and promotional offer uptake
• Fully understand what drives our key customer base, using market data and insight to unpick customer behaviours and ensure that all campaigns and marketing activities are engaging and measured effectively.
• Work closely with relevant internal teams (Marketing, CVM, Brand and Creative, CRM, CMU, Business Intelligence), to ensure that our commercial marketing plans are aligned to business objectives.
• Lead an eight-figure budget, optimising our offer approach and generosity with performance and objectives.
• As a line manager, take responsibly for the performance, development, and engagement of your direct report(s).
• Help to collate marketing plans across wider teams, ensuring that all planned work is aligned.
• Have an ROI-focused attitude and possess strong analytical skills, with an ability to analyse results and make recommendations on areas of improvement for future activity.

• Understand challenges across multiple areas and chips in to ideas as to how they can be solved.
• Lead multiple tasks and projects at any one time, prioritising workload based on importance.
• Become immersed in latest industry news, case studies and standard processes; develop a useful network of colleagues and engage in wider team tasks.

How you’ll do it:

• Reporting to a Senior Commercial Marketing Manager you should be self-motivated, proactive, tenacious, have good attention to detail, and be a good communicator.
• You should possess significant Marketing or Commercial experience, preferably with knowledge of Sports Betting. You should also have proven experience of managing and developing a team.
