We’re looking for a CVM Manager to join our Sky Bet team at Sky Betting & Gaming, part of Flutter UK & Ireland.

You will be an integral part of the future of the team, owning the strategic approach and implementation of the sportsbook cross-sell and upsell initiatives to improve the value exchange between every customer and our brand.

What you’ll do

As the CVM Manager, you will lead initiatives that drive incremental growth across the sportsbook’s product portfolio and customer base. Using data-driven insights and AI models, you’ll design and implement proactive and reactive CVM programmes that engage customers throughout their lifecycle, from initial concept to full execution.

Success in this role requires close collaboration with the wider CVM and Bet-Tribe teams and a dedication to continuous improvement. You’ll adopt a test-and-learn approach, using results to refine and optimise strategies iteratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Complete Targeted CVM Programmes: Shape and implement cross-sell and upsell campaigns that are both strategic and tactical, striving to build strong, 1:1 relationships with customers through personalised generosity and preferences.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Identify high-impact investment opportunities advised by data, focusing on balanced, long-term growth.
• Customer Obsession and Safety: Prioritise a customer-first approach, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with the overall strategy for Sky Bet & Flutter UKI, with a strong emphasis on customer safety and trust.
• Experimentation: Work closely with the wider CVM and Bet-Tribe teams to drive projects forward, sharing insights and encouraging a culture of testing, learning, and optimisation to continually improve the efficiency of each campaign and overall cross-sell and upsell programmes.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in transforming customer relationships and chipping in to the company’s strategic growth, always with a focus on providing outstanding value and customer experience.

Key skills

• Analytical Competence: A critical skill for this role, as we take a data-driven approach to drive balanced growth. This means not only analysing data to find opportunities and risks but also working closely with UKI data science teams to develop, implement and measure AI models within the CVM strategy and optimisation efforts.
• Customer First: Putting the customer at the core of decision-making, with a focus on understanding both transactional and attitudinal behaviours to advise short-term plans and long-term strategy. The goal is to align with customer preferences, crafting an enhanced value exchange between each customer and Sky Bet.
• Commercial Acumen: Ability to interpret sophisticated data sets and make informed commercial decisions. This includes challenging data to extract the ‘what’ and the ‘why’.
• Lifecycle Optimisation Expertise: Consistent record of driving incremental value for the business and customer, with a full understanding of customer journeys and touchpoints.
• Stakeholder Management: This role will depend on collaboration across multiple teams, including Commercial, Finance, Marketing & Media, CRM & Promo Ops, Business Intelligence, and Data Science.
• Stakeholder Influence across UKI: Build positive relationships to support the cross-sell and upsell strategy. This role will actively participate in divisional working groups and wider marketing and generosity forums.
• Effective Communication: Ability to adapt communication style to various audiences, relaying sophisticated data, campaign / generosity strategy and results.
• Team Player: As a key member of the CVM team, we seek someone who will chip in to setting new standards and role modelling best-in-class practices.
• Action-Oriented: Adopts empowerment and takes initiative to deliver outstanding results.

Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in a CVM, Commercial Marketing or Analytics role (crucial)
• Customer Lifecycle strategy development (crucial)
• Management experience (crucial)
• Experience in building commercial use cases for AI model development and an iterative approach to implementation (desired)
• Sportsbook experience (desired)
• Experience working in divisional organisation structure (desired)
