Who you’ll work with

Reporting into the Commercial and Marketing Director – SkyBet, you will lead a capable and ambitious team. Setting and delivering the short, medium, and long-term Commercial strategy, working closely with Marketing, Trading, Product, Insight and Finance leads. Delivering compelling customer propositions that reward customers fairly and grow customer advocacy to the brand.

Your role in ‘better’

The Head of Commercial will be responsible for hitting key business targets, including the number of customers active in a given week, their stakes, and their encouraged margin across Football, Racing and Key Sports. Working with a number of teams across the business, you will understand how these metrics can be affected and come up with strategies to do so.

The role will lead the Skybet Generosity Strategy, sharing best practice across the Flutter Group. This includes owning of a 9-figure free bet budget, providing rationale for its investment and finding new opportunities to create greater payback.

Developing the future Skybet Business Strategy with other senior Heads of Department, you will play a key role in driving forward change.

How you’ll create ‘better’

• Very strong Commercial competence, preferably with knowledge of the Betting Market
• A track record of delivering commercial performance targets, using data led insights to make prioritisation decisions with regards to use of budgets, effort and resource
• Experience of handling significant budget responsibility and performance reporting
• As leader of a team that works with all areas of the business, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative way across many different functions are vital
