Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Review and extract quantities from architectural, structural, and engineering drawings;
• Carry out precise on-site measurements to validate project requirements;
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and tender documentation prior to construction;
• Contribute to cost estimation, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives;
• Track material usage and assess contractor claims against completed site works;
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to identify and resolve discrepancies;
• Assist with procurement activities and contract administration tasks.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline;
• Previous experience in a quantity surveying or similar role within the construction sector;
• Solid understanding of measurement methods, cost estimation, and preparation of tender documentation;
• Skilled in quantity surveying software and proficient in MS Office applications;
• Strong command of AutoCAD (essential); familiarity with Revit is considered an advantage;
• Willingness and ability to carry out site visits and perform physical measurements; own transport required.
