Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and enhance technical expertise in FATCA, CRS, DAC, and other tax-related regulations, ensuring compliance for the Company and its group companies;
• Lead and deliver technical tax training sessions for internal teams and external stakeholders;
• Advise and assist the Company and clients on complex tax matters, including DAC, ATAD, Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2, and upcoming changes to the Maltese corporate tax framework;
• Design and implement efficient tax-related processes and procedures;
• Manage a select portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality tax advisory services;
• Represent the Company at industry conferences, showcasing the organization’s tax knowledge and expertise;
• Conduct in-depth tax research, applying findings to provide advisory services and produce professional publications and articles;
• Contribute to the expansion and development of the Tax Advisory practice;
• Undertake additional duties as required by the Company or its affiliated companies.

Experience

• Be a fully qualified accountant with recognized professional certification;
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field;
• Candidates without a professional taxation certificate must demonstrate equivalent work experience and be open to pursuing the certification if required;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
• Exceptional command of written and spoken English.

• Proficiency in conveying ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing;
• Have good leadership and training skills.
