Location: Malta + Hybrid


  • Assist in the monthly closing process
  • Assist in the preparation of the financial statements
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly reporting to the board
  • Be a main driver of the annual statutory audit processes
  • Be the main point of contact for gaming tax and finance compliance
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly gaming tax computations
  • Prepare and submit of the quarterly VAT returns and annual tax returns
  • Perform day to day tasks such as invoice issuing to customers, invoice processing and other required tasks
  • General ledger duties (postings, reconciliations, accruals & prepayments)
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
  • Liaising with external consultants such as third party accountants and tax consultants
  • Drive innovation in the work processes, implementing automations as necessary
  • Maintaining regular communication with team members, with members within the finance team and other internal members across different departments

About you :

  • Degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel including advanced functions and pivot tables
  • An inquisitive mind
  • A self-starter
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organisations
