Our client is a leading provider of residential care services.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide accounting and clerical assistance;
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records in an accurate manner;
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements;
- Maintain financial records, update and prepare reports and reconcile bank statements;
- Use Sage and other software to process business transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts;
- Provide assistance and support to employees;
- Function in accordance to established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Experience
- Have an A’ Level in Accounting; candidates in process of obtaining an ACCA qualification will be given preference;
- Have 1 year of experience in a similar role;
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
- Be fluent in both Maltese and English languages.

- Be accurate;
- Have attention to detail and pro-activeness skills;
- Have strong communications skills and ability to work on own initiative within a team environment.
