Our client is a leading tax, audit and advisory firm.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Build strong working relationships with clients;
• Prepare, maintain, update and finalise accounting data;
• Process non-technical and technical information in accounting systems;
• Prepare and submit personal tax returns for sole traders;
• Prepare and submit VAT tax returns for clients;
• Prepare Management Accounts;
• Prepare Trial Balances;
• Prepare and maintain cash books;
• Prepare and maintain accounting journals;
• Deal with the relevant regulatory and supervisory authorities.

Experience

• Be ACCA qualified;
• Previous experience within an accounting team would be considered an asset;
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office software programs. An advanced level in Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset;
• Strong communication skills in English and Maltese, both written and spoken.
