Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support Relationship Managers in evaluating customers’ creditworthiness through research and analysis;
  • Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers on customers’ due diligence matters and form part of the Bank’s first line of defence in line with the Bank’s Risk and AML framework;
  • Facilitate the collection of financial data and documentation from customers for business proposals;
  • Assist Relationship Managers in planning and executing reviews, proactively identifying and addressing new risks;
  • Manage and service existing customer relationships and facilities;
  • Coordinate with internal functions such as Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Legal to streamline end-to-end processes in line with business priorities;
  • Deliver excellent customer service to customers both in terms of lending and deposit;
  • Promote a culture of continuous process improvement and uphold the Bank’s professional standards and quality control;
  • Participate in system testing and implementation to meet corporate team requirements.


  • Proficiency in Credit Operations and Corporate Loans support, along with familiarity with other corporate products such as Bank Guarantees, will be considered an asset;
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English is required;
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, is essential.
