Job Description

You are in charge of the lifeline to the business – you need make sure that we are the best in class when it comes to our payments solution offering in each territory. Success smells like stable acceptance rates, low rolling reserves, and the best commercials. The other side is the product – having a cutting-edge cashier, optimizing the conversion flow & keeping the user experience in the forefront.

Product Ownership – 50%

  • Widening the spectrum of payment methods that are used on existing brands by getting input from relevant stakeholders, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in payments to have the best and latest technology on our brands
  • Developing the payments product strategy whilst aligning this to the business & operational needs
  • Communicating with the relevant business development unit to make sure that the Payments Roadmap is on track and the priorities are in business value order
  • Commercial Relationship Handling – Negotiation and of course, re-negotiation of contracts with the final ambition to be as cost effective as possible
  • Identifying marketing opportunities with new and existing payment methods and collaborate with the Brand Development Unit to see these campaigns to completion
  • Optimizing the conversion of deposits and boosting acceptance rates with a special eye on failed deposits

Strategy Ownership – 30%

  • Together with the stakeholders, identifying the underlying need per market
  • Together with the design team, researching, exploring and suggesting an impressive solution meeting the needs and expectation of the customers and stakeholders
  • Show to the executive team where we can be in 6 to 12 months down the line

Team Mentorship – 20%

  • Grow the product team into the next generation leaders
  • Lead the product team to smash business goals


  • 6+ years experience within payments solutiosn
  • Yoda-level of experience in creative solutions and MGA markets
  • Numbers driven
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good team mentorship skills
  • Sound Technical knowledge and experience with our providers & 3rd party suppliers would be considered a plus
