Our client is a boutique travel agency.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Process flight, hotel and rental car bookings;
- Responsible for tickets issuance and refunds;
- Stay informed of all airline rules, regulations, and current affairs and communicate information accurately and appropriately;
- Maintain and assist with statistical and financial records;
- Support clients 24/7.
Experience
- Have a strong sales background with experience in a previous sales position in the travel/hospitality industry;
- Have 1-2 years of experience in Hotels, DCM (Destination Management Company) or similar;
- Knowledge of a Central Reservation System: Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre will be considered an asset.
Personal Skills
- Strong geographical knowledge and a passion for travel;
- Ability to effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with clients;
- Strong written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Excellent attention to detail.
