Job Description
You are a fully qualified lawyer and have gained experience working in (Maltese) corporate and contract law in recent years? As Legal Counsel (m/f/x), you will be part of an excellent team that strives to get the best out of their products and continues to expand its leading market position in a highly regulated environment. The role holder will be responsible to review and interpret legal and regulatory requirements – while being responsible for corporate housekeeping, negotiating contracts, supporting the marketing team and implementing technical product specifications, amongst other exciting topics. You will be part of project teams, take on responsibility and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Your playing field
- You will provide accurate and timely advice on a wide range of legal matters, including contract, corporate, e-commerce, e-payment, competition, data protection, and general civil law and combine these areas with the regulatory requirements of gambling law.
- You will coordinate, guide and facilitate the contract approval and signing process including being the first point of contact for contract approvals
- You will draft, review and negotiate license, distribution, marketing, payment and cooperation agreements with national and international partners.
- You will oversee corporate housekeeping such as preparing resolutions, intercompany agreements and other corporate files and keep corporate databases and files up to date.
- You will be part of project teams and support the implementation and structuring of innovative business models and technologies.
- You are the point of contact for other teams regarding any ad-hoc legal inquiries and provide prompt advice and practical solutions.
- You will conduct legal research in a wide range of legal topics and assess risks in business processes and decision-making.
- You advise on internal guidelines and training materials to support the operational business.
