Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Be the link between the company and the client for matters regarding service, orders, follow up and complaints;
  • Provide a link between the Warehouse, Shipping and the Admin office;
  • Analyse client’s purchases and follow up so sales and products offering can be incremented;
  • Have a firm grasp of the products the company offers, so to assist the customers with their requests;
  • Build business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with current clients and acquiring new clients;
  • Identify business opportunities by identifying potential customers;
  • Research and analyse sales options;
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions;
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance;
  • Research and recommend new opportunities and service improvements;
  • Attend regular meetings with the management, to improve sales and also the service;
  • Collect necessary data in a proper manner so KPl’s can be issued and recorded;
  • Monitor competition by gathering current information on pricing, products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques;
  • Recommend changes in products and services by evaluating results and competitive developments;
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Assist the Management on the daily work;
  • Create and send quotations, follow them up and get feedback;
  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails;
  • Handle incoming calls and outgoing sales calls to prospective clients in order to generate business (cold calls);
  • Handle data inputting & costings;
  • Communicate with shipping agents via email and follow up’s;
  • Update invoicing system and web portal;
  • Liaise with warehouse.

Experience

  • Have an O’ Level qualification;
  • Be in possession of ECDL qualification;
  • Be fluent in written and oral English.
