Our client is a leading organisation in corporate services, trustees and fiduciaries.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with legal assessment of commercial transactions;
- Draft and vet commercial agreements and ancillary documentation and prepare summaries of key terms;
- Track transaction status and contractual performance;
- Focus on purchase and sale of vessels and aircraft and financing aspects;
- Advise and support the Company in dealings with clients and third parties;
- Act as the main point of contact for purchase and sale transactions;
- Liaise with all stakeholders involved in transactions;
- Draft and review corporate governance documents;
- Manage formation and dissolution of legal entities;
- Assist with corporate matters for client entities;
- Liaise with authorities and professional services firms across jurisdictions;
- Support clients with their requirements;
- Manage electronic and hardcopy filing systems;
- Conduct legal research as needed;
- Stay updated on local and international legislation;
- Undertake additional duties as required by the Company.
Experience
- Be a Qualified lawyer with a warrant to practice law in Malta;
- Possess a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience working in yachting and maritime law;
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience working in corporate;
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and in developing and maintaining a professional network.
