Accountant (Maltese Speaking)

Company Introduction

Our client is a major player in Malta’s construction industry handling new developments and the manufacturing of construction materials.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Keep precise and up-to-date accounting records;
• Conduct monthly reconciliations, including bank reconciliations;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts;
• Coordinate with external auditors as needed, including preparing yearly audits;
• Prepare and submit VAT returns;
• Perform WIP reconciliations;
• Prepare additional ad-hoc reports as requested by management, banks, and other stakeholders

Experience

• Possess a degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification, or be in the final stages of obtaining an Accounting qualification;
• Must have at least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role;
• Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese.
