Our client is a leading accounting and auditing firm.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervising multiple engagements concurrently;
- Preparing an effective assurance plan of engagements for more complex engagements;
- Identify potential technical issues and discuss internally when appropriate;
- Draft Management letters in conjunction with Managers and Partners that provide practical and commercial business advice;
- Assist in reviews of small and low risk engagements;
- Be ‘in-charge’ of large and complex engagements;
- Monitor senior staff;
- Provide support to the team regarding areas which might be complex or related to risk;
- Review work carried out by senior staff.
Experience
- Have at least 5 years of experience working in the Audit sector;
- Possess all necessary qualifications to work as an Auditor;
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Personal Skills
- Strong knowledge of GAPSE, GAPSME, IFRS and International Auditing Standards;
- Ability to identify, report and handle sensitive issues;
- Capable of working within a team, inspire, mentor and manage a team of individuals working to demanding deadlines;
- Be smart, highly motivated, and well presented;
- Able to perform under pressure.
