Company Introduction

Our client is a leading Corporate Services Provider in Malta.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Facilitate seamless client onboarding by meticulously reviewing due diligence documentation in alignment with local regulations;
  • Conduct regular assessments of current client relationships and organizational structures to ensure compliance standards are maintained;
  • Support the company in meeting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legal obligations by actively participating in related processes;
  • Collaborate on the enhancement of internal AML/CFT compliance manuals, policies, procedures, and systems;
  • Work closely with the Risk and Compliance Department to promote awareness and understanding of compliance and risk-related issues;
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Risk and Compliance, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team and organization.

Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Law, Criminology, or a related field;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in risk and compliance, preferably with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial services setting;
  • Familiarity with Maltese regulations pertaining to anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT), including knowledge of the FIAU Implementing Procedures, relevant EU legislation, and international standards.
