Injection Moulding Machine Setter

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Head of Injection and with safety and efficiency as a priority, the Machine Setter is responsible for the overall efficiency of production within a defined area.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing the setup and start-up of moulds in line with 5S principles
• Maintaining 5S of assigned area
• Ensure that production targets are met and orders are fulfilled
• Machine & Equipment maintenance
• Process optimisation to improve the overall efficiency of the department
• Optimise material consumption including that of rejection and waste
• Offer technical support to the injection team
• Monitoring operator performance
• Liaise with other process leaders
• Monitor product and process quality
• Plan & resolve production issues within the Injection Department

Requirements

• Proven working experience
• Technically competent persons within the required area of expertise
• Being able to work with a team and on own initiative
• A can-do attitude
