Mechanical engineer

Job Description

Duties

• Participates in regular project status updates with the project team and customers.
• Meet with clients to determine their needs
• Design (with CAD software) the solution where applicable
• Do on-site repairs on machinery
• Perform basic mechanical tasks related to automation equipment.
• Use hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment daily.
• Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, regularly update supplier database
• Compile supplier’s purchase orders and follow up the order fulfilment process (including deliveries and after-sales)
