Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan an organised visiting schedule in order of priority, in an efficient manner to address any faults or repair of machines, commissioning and/or preventive maintenance;
  • Communicate with clients in a proper and efficient manner, for any visits or passing of information as necessary;
  • Plan for any repairs to be settled, provide an alternative option (short term) and repair the machine in a reasonable time;
  • Assist the Sales team at quotation/audit stage from a technical perspective;
  • Liaise with our foreign partners to keep abreast and updated on products upgrades, changes and also other important information as necessary;
  • Upkeep with work-shop and parts;
  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails for the PS technical department;
  • Monitor and keep up with cloud system re. machine alerts and supplies;
  • Repair office equipment that the company offers and close the communication loop with clients for a replacement or repaired equipment;
  • Be able to be on call during weekends for any faults as may occur;
  • Follow up on strategies and participate in their inception from a technical perspective;
  • Build business by maintaining relationships with current clients;
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements;
  • Educate the client in order to help maintain the machine in good condition for the mutual benefit;
  • Maintain and document important information in order to follow the machine status and records;
  • Handle incoming calls from clients.


  • Hold a degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Technician, Information Technology and or similar;
  • Posess a ECDL qualification;
  • Be fluent in English;
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
