QA Engineer

Job Description

Omarsys is looking for a Senior QA Engineer

Roughly, you can expect the following spread of tasks:

• 40% regression testing
• 30% new features/functional testing
• 10% managing testing environments
• 20% reporting, documenting and communicating with the team and wider stakeholder group

Some of the tasks you would be working on, would be

• Create effective strategies for testing based on functional and technical needs
• Planning, coordination, execution and assessments of test concepts and test plans
• Execution of Automated or manual functional and UI tests
• Analyse results and deliver test summaries and recommendations to the product team
• Write, track and follow-up on defects, workarounds and fixes
• Enhance automated plans
• Prepare presentations and training sessions intra Department
• Assist with the releases conducted by the team
• Report the quality status of the release to the team

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

• Must be passionate about quality
• A good amount of experience in the industry
• Worked on web applications
• Strong exploratory testing skills
• Experience with bug tracking tools (preferably JIRA)
• Basic knowledge of web API testing
• Basic knowledge of SQL

We need you to:

• Understand Agile
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Have a very good verbal and written English

Nice to have

• Knowledge of test automation in Cypress.io
• Knowledge of Selenium Webdriver or any other test automation framework
• Postman
• Working with logs
