Company Introduction
Our client is a leading importer/distributor to Hospitals and Pharmacies.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Post all accounting documents up to trial balance on the financial accounting system;
- Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the Finance department;
- Carry out periodic reconciliation of creditors’ statements with accounting records;
- Process invoices, record payments and keep track of expenses;
- Update bank accounts including monthly bank reconciliations;
- Assist in any internal/external audits which take place periodically;
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory reporting;
- Chase debtors;
- Assist in periodic stock-taking exercises.
Experience
- Have at least an A-level standard of education;
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar accounting role;
- Experienced in the use of accounting software;
- Have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
- Attentive to detail.
