Within product development, we have different Areas where teams focus on providing the best experience when it comes to the different journeys our customers take on our sites. Our teams are structured in end-to-end feature teams, to ensure as an organisation we are delivering the best quality as quickly as possible!
We are looking to expand our team in the CORE Area. The CORE Area is the engine behind Besson’s brands. Within the area we drive the frameworks that empower the other areas to achieve their features. We also deal with a centralized content delivery system, customer insights, our internal facing tools, product releases and centralized tools we build for our brands. It's a diverse, multi skilled area full of great teams with a growth mindset.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a QA Engineer to raise further the confidence on our software development team and the products being implemented. You will do so by applying your QA and development skills to improve our ways of tackling quality assurance within our systems. Doing so will help teams do be efficient and effective in their software development lifecycle and making sure none of those nasty bugs sneak into our production systems. Your effort will help ensure that our complex systems meet the standards of the product teams.
The successful candidate would be a positive, energetic, and solution-oriented person with the ability to engage with all levels of the business. This candidate would be analysing our quality assurance needs and help innovate our systems or come up with new solutions that would push forward our quality effort. We believe that united as a team we can achieve anything, and we want the individual to join in our family.
- Skilled in testing REST Web API's and backend systems, including the use of mocks
- Able to write E2E tests for Web API features
- Skilled in using Web API tools such as Postman, WCF Test Client etc.
- Able to investigate, reverse engineer issues and automate to not face them again
- Able to debug FE sites for API network problems
It would be an asset if the individual is:
- Able to test Frontend features sets
- Able to write Integration and Endurance tests
- Familiar and able to run Performance and Load tests
- Familiar with .NET Web API's
- Able to test WCF services and Realtime solutions such as SignalR, Kafka, etc

For this role you are based in our HQ – Malta or Tallinn Tech hub in Estonia. Furthermore, we offer 10 days per year of remote work from any EU location.
