Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure that the company’s overall sales targets and expectations to drive growth and sustainability are met and surpassed;
- Discovers and pursues new sales prospects;
- Promotes and sells media products and services for print and online and maintains excellent relationships with all clients;
- Studies and understands all facets of the media products and services being offered;
- Trains in various sales tactics and approaches approved by the company;
- Approaches potential clients through new leads, cold calls, networking, social media, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means;
- Hones and delivers a skilled sales pitch to potential clients, explaining the benefits, data, reach and potential audience of specific media offerings to them through professional presentations;
- Details pricing and negotiate costs when necessary and handle complaints;
- Facilitates successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company, creating frequent reports with sales and financial data;
- Tracks every media sale made to ensure that it is completed accurately and on time;
- Works to maximize sales and meet targets in the short and long term;
- Maintains excellent relationships with all clients in the executive's portfolio;
- Meets clients outside of normal business hours when necessary;
- Collaborates with the rest of the team to achieve better results.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.

- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and also Maltese;
- Technologically savvy and excellent knowledge of traditional and new media;
- Strong commitment to customer service and a keen eye for detail;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated and results-driven;
- Understanding of marketing technology and negotiating skills;
- Excellent organization and administration skills;
- Fast learner and passion for sales.
