Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage credit facilities for corporate clients, overseeing their ongoing monitoring and servicing;
- Prepare respective credit applications from information and documentation collected from the customers, to include facility definition, preparation of deal structuring, propose security and carry out a full financial assessment including recommended covenants;
- Assess and recommend customers’ proposals in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies, credit risk and AML risk considerations;
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients;
- Collaborate closely with Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Legal departments;
- Act as a key component of the Bank’s first line of defense within its Risk and AML framework.
Experience
- Possess a degree in related areas of Finance, Banking, Business Administration or Law;
- Have a least 5 years’ of experience in a relevant field;
- Knowledge of corporate loans structuring, including working capital loans and real estate financing;
- Be fluent in both Maltese and English;
- Be proficient in the use of MS Office applications with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
