Our client is a leading tax, audit and advisory firm.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Build strong working relationships with clients;
• Works as an effective team member to accurately complete project components and tasks;
• Prepare, maintain, update and finalize accounting data;
• Process of non-technical and technical information in accounting systems;
• Prepare and submit of personal tax returns for sole traders and VAT tax returns for clients;
• Prepare the Management Accounts and Trial Balances;
• Prepare and maintain cash books and accounting journals;
• Deal with the relevant regulatory and supervisory authorities.

Experience

• Currently reading for ACCA or equivalent;
• Previous working experience within an accounting team would be considered an advantage;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. An advanced level in Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset;
• Fluency in English and Maltese, both written and spoken.
