Company Introduction

Our client is a leading Corporate Services Provider in Malta.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage corporate restructuring, oversee local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, draft and negotiate corporate agreements, and ensure compliance with corporate laws;
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, providing guidance on contract law issues, and resolving disputes;
  • Set up and administer trusts and foundations, ensuring legal compliance, and advising clients on related legal implications;
  • Manage application processes for FinTech and licensed companies, staying updated with FinTech regulations, and providing legal advice on FinTech solutions;
  • Lead due diligence, negotiate deal terms, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to execute transactions;
  • Draft and review a variety of legal documents to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness;
  • Provide ongoing legal support, build strong client relationships, and offer strategic legal advice;
  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes, ensuring operational compliance, and developing policies for compliance;
  • Conduct legal research, collaborating with the legal team, and supporting various projects and initiatives.

Experience

  • Possess the necessary qualifications to practice law in Malta (Doctor of Laws / Master of Advocacy);
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working in a similar role in the corporate area of law;
  • Be interested in working in the aforementioned areas;
  • Have an excellent command of the English language.

  • Be proactive and reliable, highly organised, eager to learn and meticulous.
